Dipping a toe in water

If you ever wanted to try racing, why not think about getting a 3 Race Licence.  It's a great way to try racing without the full cost of getting a race licence.  Each 3 Race Licence cost $55, is valid for 3 months from the first event you enter, and can be use to enter any non-state open event, ie club, interclub racing.  And then if wish to purchase a full 2011 race licence $55 will be discount from total price.   If you're interested, please contact club Membership Officer Callum Dwyer at

Christmas and the New Year

Albury Wodonga Cycling Club would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

And speaking of the new year, 2011 is shaping up to be great year for the club.  The race committee are hard at work organising Geoff Dixon Handicap for the end of February and Rutherglen Classic Weekend in May.  There also be few changes to club racing.  Some mid-week racing, new circuits, and a return to Saturday afternoons in autumn.  So get in some base miles over summer and hope to see you all ready to race in 2011.

And with new sponsorship period beginning next year, so brings a new kit.  All garments will be manufactured by Ventou and will arrive in store at The Full Cycle by late January.  The development squad had small number of bibs knicks done by Ventou early in year, and from all reports they offer very comfortable ride.
