Club Race Standings

The next club race is Sunday November 28.  The race committee has also decided to combine new spring series points table with winter series points table, given the small number of spring races and a number of winter races being cancel.  As can been see below the points have widely spread.  So with just one race left, anyone can still win the series.  Please note, a single point has been awarded to those who have commissaired or marshelled.

Bellbridge

Sunday's Giro Della Bellbridge was great success.  Luckily the rain stay away for the most part after very wet 24 hour period.  The club would like to thank everyone who help on the day, it's your efforts that make days like this possible.  The club also enjoyed great success out on course, with Brendan Washington taking out A grade from a two up breakaway and Hugh Satchell again winning D grade.  The next round of the Tour of Two Rivers is on 21st of the November at the small town of Marrar.

Tour Of Two Rivers

Last Saturday saw a small band of AWCC members travel to Cootamundra for stage 3 of the Tour of Two Rivers.  Hugh Satchell made it three wins from three starts in D grade and now has a sizeable lead 13 points on the points table.  While new AWCC member Trudi Beck finish 10th and is now equal leading female.  In A grade Development Squad member Kade Brown took out maximum KOM points and finish 7th on the day.

Of course the next stage is our own Bellridge race this Sunday.  It shaping up to be awesome day of racing.  Fine weather is being forecast and a full Lake Hume will provide spectacular back drop.   Race entries via TTR site.  We still need people to help with marshalling, so if you or know someone that can help please contact Callum Dwyer on 0417 511 509.
