About Us

The Albury Wodonga Panthers Cycling Club was form in 2015 with the merger of the Albury Wodonga Cycling Club (AWCC) and Lavington Panthers Cycling Club (LPCC).

The AWCC was  formed in 1998 when members from the old Wodonga Amateur Cycling Club. LPCC was formed as Lavington Amateur Cycling Club in 1970 after the Albury Cycling Club folded.

The AWPCC stage several major cycling events throughout the year such as Club Championships, the Geoff Dixon Memorial Road Race, Giro delle Bellbridge and the grand daddy of them all The John Woodman Memorial Wagga to Albury Classic.

Club races are held regularly from March to October and members also often travel to compete in events across Victoria and southern New South Wales, as well as supporting many participation events like the Around the Bay In a Day, Amy Gillet Foundation and AUDAX rides.
